The Bazadais cross have done well again following up on their wins from 2010. The Champion and Reserve Champion came out of the pen of three. All cattle including the ones in pens are judged individually as well. It was just unfortunate that one of the three let him down in the pen. Wingham Beef Week Carcase Competition 2010 Congratulations to Roy & Dorothy Laverty from Big Ben Bazadais at Taylors Arm, Mid North Coast NSW. Less than .5 of a mark between 1st and 2nd Official Results Certificate Export Pasture Fed 300 – 420 kg: Dent 0-6 3rd with 196.14 points Official Results Certificate Heavy Trade Pasture Fed 260.1 – 340kg: Dent 0-2 Even though these steers were disqualified for two being just underweight it is worth just checking the results.
